World Survey on the Role of Women in Development 2004: Women and International Migration

This report sets out recommendations to improve the situation of migrant, refugee and trafficked women. It discusses issues relating to gender equality and international migration; poverty reduction and sustainable development; family and labor migration; refugees and displaced persons; human trafficking and smuggling; gender roles and integration of women; and health and HIV/AIDS.
