Actions to End Violence Against Women - A Regional Scan of the Pacific 2002

This study is part of a global assessment by UNIFEM on actions to end violence against women and girls. It focuses on three categories of violence experienced by women and girls, particularly in the Pacific region: domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault of the girl child. It examines UNIFEM's work in the larger context of efforts to end violence against women, and highlights the legal, political and human rights achievements made in the region.
