Improving Women’s Lives: World Bank Actions Since Beijing

This report describes the efforts of the World Bank to achieve the goals set forth in the Beijing Platform for Action. It discusses World Bank projects which have helped to improve the lives of women and girls and institutional changes which have helped the Bank to increase attention to gender issues in its work.
