SGBV in Liberia
I am interested in linking up with persons involved with the victims of SGBV and the training of the actors within the criminal justice system who respond to those victims.
Dear Ms Poole,
Thank you for your question to the iKNOW Politics network!
In response to your query I would like to refer you to one of iKNOW Politics' news entries on last year's 'International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women'. As you will see, this page provides you with some info on organisations working in this field: http://www.iknowpolitics.org/node/40494. For information on the Inter-Parliamentary Union's activities on this issue, please click here.
iKNOW Politics also has an open 'discussion group' on 'Advocacy on Gender Based Violence'. Please do contribute to this discussion and/or get in touch with the group administrators and members. You can access the group here.
Finally, a "Ending Violence Against Women and Human Trafficking: A Guide to New Strategies" was recently published and can be found here.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or need any more information.
