Code of Conduct for Political Parties - Campaigning in Democratic Elections

This International IDEA handbook sets forth a universal code of conduct for the behavior of political parties and their supporters in an election process. It is based on the analysis and synthesis of existing codes and materials on this topic. The purpose of this code is to minimize conflict, eradicate intimidation, and encourage a climate of open, free and fair competition during the election period.
