Social Media: A Practical Guide for Electoral Management Bodies

This Guide is intended to inform electoral management bodies (EMBs) about the ways in which social media can be used to increase the participation of the electorate, boost communication, engage all members of the community, and improve transparency and trust throughout the electoral cycle.

It is designed to be an introduction to the use of social media and to provide EMBs who have just begun to use these channels or who are about to embark on using them with topics to reflect upon when responding to new communication realities and developing social media strategies.
