Indonesia’s national motto is “Unity and Diversity.”That motto is perhaps as much necessity as aspiration in a country which has 34 political parties in its national government and 300 ethnic groups in the country.On Monday and Tuesday, three Indonesian women – Husna Hidayati Darusman, Ipin and Syafitri – toured Grand Island to get a first-hand look at local government, which often operates on a non-partisan basis.
