Welcome to the Liberia Focus Group on Gender Based Violence. We are members of Civil Society Organizations and Community Based Organizations working on issues effecting Liberian Women in society at different levels. After 14 years of war we are now faced with an increase of sexual and gender based violence ranging from rape, domestic violence, gender disparity, etc. We are looking forward to drawing lessons from other post-conflict countries to help address and reduce SGBV.
Women's Participation in Parliamentary Leadership
I would like for the international community to empower and strenghten the skills of Liberian women leaders in order to have equal participation in decision- making.
