Summary:

This case study describes the evolvement of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP) in early 1990s and the establishment and growth of the SDP Women’s Forum (SDWF). It also describes the relationships between SDP and SDWF as well as the challenges to implementing party quotas.
