Jordan: Not Good Enough

Fifty-eight parliamentarians have recently petitioned the government to treat children and husbands of Jordanian mothers married to non-Jordanians, and holding temporary passports, on an equal footing with Jordanians, without giving them Jordanian citizenship.The move is a timid step towards improving the discriminatory treatment of those individuals, but not the solution.
