Vietnam urges more women to enter politics
Vietnam's National Assembly chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said promoting gender equality in the political area will create more opportunities for women, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reports.
Tong highlighted gender equality as a fundamental human right and an important measure of social progress during a workshop held in Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on Sunday.
