Alyona Shkrum is the elected People's Deputy of Ukraine. Before being elected People's Deputy, Shkrum worked as a lawyer of (fellow) politician Iryna Herashchenko and as advocacy expert of UNHCR implementing partner NGO.
This interview was conducted in November 2017 in Ottawa, Canada, during the Inter-parliamentary Union's Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.
