USA: 'Zero' Common Number For Women In SC Politics

South Carolina ranks last in the nation in the percentage of women holding elected office."Well, there are no lines for the bathroom, that is for sure," said Representative Nikki Haley.

Haley is one of just 17 women in the South Carolina House of Representatives. The other 107 members are men.Currently there are no women in the state Senate. There are no women elected to U.S. Congress. There are no women holding statewide constitutional office.
