National Human Development Report: Romania 2000
This Human Development Report focuses on the implications of the process of European Union (EU) accession for human development in Romania. It argues that while economic integration may bring overall economic and social benefits to Romanian society, vulnerable sectors of society may suffer under the transition process and be adversely affected by the process of EU accession.
