Pathway to Gender Equality: CEDAW, Beijing and the MDGs
This handbook provides a preliminary mapping of gender equality issues as raised by each of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). It also highlights the obligations and commitments of the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), and the Beijing Fourth World Conference on Women to advance gender equality as outlined in the MDGs.
