This workshop is for anyone considering seeking public office, running for higher office or working on a campaign.
The Carrie Chapman Catt Center received a grant from the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) and partnered with the League of Women Voters of Ames to offer this one-day comprehensive, bi-partisan campaign training workshop for individuals who are already planning to run for office OR who are considering getting more involved with politics.
In this workshop you will learn about:
Confronting stereotypes
Putting together your campaign
Raising money for campaigns
Conquering the camera
Crashing the parties
