Call for Papers: Arab Women and Legislation

Arab Women and legislation is one of the themes selected to be covered by CAWTAR’s flagship Arab Women Development Reports (AWDRs. CAWTAR’s objective of the 5th AWDR on Arab Women and legislation is to present regional research that clings: the perspectives, processes,and successful experiences to benefit from in building a regional legislative policy‐oriented campaign. The goal of this campaign is to strengthen existing institutional advocacy strategies as avenues to foster women status as actors and claim holders in the legislative sphere.
The submitted proposals should not exceed 25 pages including reference list. Contributed papers should be original and have not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
The first draft of submitted proposal is due October 31, 2007and the final draft is expected by December 31, 2007.
