Media Strategies Workshop for Organisational Sustainability

This 1-day workshop is intended for organisations who wish to improve their media and marketing strategies. According to the organisers, the workshop will provide participants with training and information on the importance of both a media and a marketing strategy, what they are, and how to develop them. It will also provide an understanding of how the media works, what happens in a newsroom and what makes news, how to get stories into the mainstream media, how to build good media relationships, and how to use different forms of media to create visibility.

The workshop also offers several other services such as evaluation of current media and marketing strategies and funding proposals, access to donor databases and referral to donor agencies where relevant, and access to sample policy documents.
