Training in Women's Global Leadership Skills

The Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston, together with the YWCA Boston, is offering a week-long intensive training experience for activists, current and former female Members of Parliament, current and former female members of municipal councils, current and former female members of the judiciary, journalists and other women interested in promoting gender equity in politics and public policy. Participants will build bridges with women from various countries as they develop their own leadership skills. Activities include lectures, discussion, meetings and visits to government branches. Using a “train the trainers” model, participants will receive materials and expertise they can use for training other women in participants’ countries upon their return. The training will take place at the University of Massachusetts Boston and other locations in the City of Boston, Massachusetts. Please review the description by clicking the link below. Interested? Please complete the Application Form by the end of September. Hope to see you in Boston in November. (Space is limited, so apply soon.)
