Engendering Development Through Gender Equality in Rights, Resources, and Voice
This report aims to improve understanding of the links between gender issues, public policy, and development in order to foster a stronger commitment to promoting gender equality. It examines extensive evidence on the effects of institutional reforms, economic policies, and active policy measures to promote greater equality between women and men. It argues that to enhance development effectiveness, gender issues must be an integral part of policy analysis, design, and implementation.
