Women Members of the Constituent Assembly: A summary of a study on contribution of women in constitution making in Nepal

This publication reveals stories of leadership, struggle and achievement of the 197 women in the Constituent Assembly in Nepal. It documents the initiatives, roles and challenges of the women members of the Constituent Assembly and at the same time aims to inspire the upcoming generation to analyze their roles in the political arena. Additionally, it documents the history of the women's movement in Nepal and looks at how the constituent assembly has been able to capture previous agendas and ensure measures to obtain gender equality in Nepal in the future.
