Gender equality and empowerment of women

This policy document is based on an international gender approach. Gender equality in the political, economic and social spheres is an underlying principle within all Austrian Development Agency policies (gender mainstreaming). Individual and collective empowerment of women helps in achieving the goal of equality and is a feature of all ADC core areas.
