Got milk? How breastfeeding relates to politics, power, and money

During World Breastfeeding Week last week I was reminded of my first ever editorial, written on the topic of parenting and careers during a PR Masters.

A key observation in the piece was that “having a job” and “building a family” were probably two of the most predictable activities that most humans are likely to undertake in their lifetimes.

Yet for 50 per cent of the population, these two activities are often incompatible.
