The policy on gender equality in Denmark

This paper describes Danish policies regarding economic independence, reconciliation policies, participation in decision-making, gender-based violence and trafficking, gender stereotype and gender equality in development policies.

In the recent years, Danish policies and practices regarding gender equality have increased their focus on ethnic minorities and on the role of men. The Danish Parliament has 70 parliamentary women (39.11%).
