2015 Report to UK Parliament on the National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security 2014-17
The UK’s third National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security was launched by the then Secretaries of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Defense and the Secretary of State for International Development in June 2014. This was followed in December 2014 by the first Implementation Plan for the National Action Plan which sets out in detail the country’s approach in the six focus countries of Afghanistan, Burma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Somalia and Syria. The report to Parliament on the UK National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security covers the Government’s work on Women, Peace and Security and includes an update on the Government’s work over the last year to promote Women, Peace and Security in the various multilateral and regional organizations.
