South Asia and Southeast Asia Regional Dialogue in Bangkok, Thailand
International IDEA organized a two-day South Asia and Southeast Asia Dialogue on transforming gender social norms to advance women’s and youth participation and representation in leadership and decision-making.
Convened under the EU-funded WYDE Women’s Leadership Initiative, the dialogue brought together 36–40 political leaders, parliamentarians, local government representatives, and civil society actors from 12 countries across South and Southeast Asia.
Held in Bangkok, Thailand, the dialogue provided a platform to exchange experiences and explore strategies for advancing inclusive political participation and leadership for women and youth.
