Animation: CEDAW for Arab Women
This animated video was launched by UN Women Jordan, during the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence". While highlighting the positive effects of its implementation in the society, the video revises the negative connotations associated with the CEDAW Convention among the general public in Jordan. The animated video is the result of joint advocacy efforts under the dedicated joint programme on CEDAW, implemented by UN Women, UNICEF and UNFPA in collaboration with the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW).
