A Dream for Africa: Video Interview with Bineta Diop

For over 20 years, Bineta Diop has been a tireless advocate for gender equality in Africa and at the forefront of a gender-sensitive approach to conflict prevention. She is the founder of Femmes Africa Solidarité, which focuses on women-led peace building in Africa’s fragile states, and serves as the African Union Special Envoy for Women, Peace and Security.

The interview was conducted by Marie O’Reilly, Editor and Research Fellow at the International Peace Institute.
