WINDHOEK - Gender Equality and Child Welfare Minister, Doreen Sioka, yesterday called on all political parties in Namibia to implement a gender equality representation policy as required by the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
The SADC protocol on gender to which Namibia is a signatory calls for a 50/50 parliamentary representation split in the middle, between men and women by 2015.
