India: Murmadi to Have All-Women Panchayat

The villagers of Murmadi, tehsil Lakhni, have unanimously decided to have an all-women 13-member gram panchayat. Even the sarpanch and deputy sarpanch will be elected by consensus of the newly-elected members.
