Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani lashed out at the western countries' incorrect view of women, and cautioned that this wrong view has and will further undermine family foundations and cause increasing social abnormalities in the West.
"An incorrect view has been formed about women in Europe since four to five centuries ago, which founded a kind of separation between religion and social status and replaced man's prosperity (both in the world and in the hereafter) with human-centered approach in practice," Larijani said on Monday, addressing the female parliament members and staff employees on the occasion of the 'Women's Day' in Iran.
