Source:

The posts for four women parliamentarians who were supposed to be elected into Parliament according to the Constitution have been frozen. This was revealed by Clerk to Parliament, Sanele Nxumalo, during the first sitting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) yesterday. Nxumalo, who is the Parliament Controlling Officer, told the PAC, which is chaired by appointed MP Thuli Dladla, that there had been an under-expenditure of E6 444 165 because the money had been meant for the female MPs and, furthermore, it reflected the withdrawal of Circular No.2, which awarded salary increment to parliamentarians.
