The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is hosting a debate on International Women’s Day “From Cavewoman to Cyborg: How does Technology affect Women and Equality?.”  As our society becomes immersed by information networks and technological advances, the event will aim to explore how this affects equality debates and the treatment of women at work, in the home and across society. An expert panel will examine the influence of technology from a myriad of perspectives – from changes in development and activism to the treatment of women online. Speakers include Genevieve Smith-Nunes, Founder of readysaltedcode and [data]Storm, and Susie JutsumGeotechnical engineer with Tony Gee and Partners, and member of WISE Young Women’s Board.
