CSW 62 Side Event on "Empowering Rural Women and Girls through Increased Decision-Making Capacity"
The side event, organized by the Government of Georgia and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) together with the Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the United Nations, will provide an opportunity to discuss the successes and remaining challenges in empowering rural women and girls at the national level. The representatives from Georgia, Mongolia and UNDP will share their experiences in tackling the gender inequalities and stir the discussion on accelerating changes in closing gender gaps for rural women and girls.
