This fall as part of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice Women PeaceMakers Program, the Institute for Peace and Justice will be hosting an international working conference entitled "Defying Extremism: Gendered Responses to Religious Violence" to examine the rise of violent religious extremism and its impact on women and communities worldwide.
