Regional Course for Africa on Political Empowerment of Women

The aim of the course is to enhance women’s leadership skills as well to promote citizens’ participation and leadership in the community. The course will provide participants with direct exposure and learning from good practices and approaches from the participants' countries and others, as well as international perspectives provided by UN Women and other international agencies. Tailored for women civic leaders, political candidates, elected leaders, political party representatives, and professionals who provide trainings for elected leaders wanting to strengthen their political leadership abilities, the course is open for candidates from African countries who have good command of English. Men who work with organizations that support women vying for political office are also eligible to apply. Click here for further information.
