The Role of EMBs in Promoting Women’s Political Participation

This virtual event, co-organized by UNDP and the Electoral Assistance Division of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, is aimed at raising awareness on the status of women’s political participation and showcasing the efforts of EMBs in tackling the many obstacles women face across the electoral cycle. The event brings together government, civil society and the global electoral community to share experiences and discuss strategies and good practices that can increase and enhance women’s participation in elections.
