WIP Global Summit in Jordan

Women’s participation in political decision-making has registered progress over the last years in the Middle East and North Africa. Political leadership in Jordan specifically, has placed exceptional emphasis on women’s issues as it continuously aiming to improve their status. With this in mind, The Women in Parliaments Global Forum (WIP) and the Parliament of Jordan will co-host the WIP Global Summit 2016 in the Plenary of the Jordanian Parliament, from 4 to 6 May 2016. This high-level conference will bring together female Parliamentarians from all over the world and will indeed be the first ever large-scale convention of international female Parliamentarians in the region.
