Candidates of the 14th National Assembly of Viet Nam

The election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly of Viet Nam will take place on May 22, 2016. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC)’s Presidium held the third consultation meeting on April 15 to approve the official list of 1,146 candidates for the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly. Among the lists, 420 are women, accounting for 36.6 per cent of the total, and 240 are from ethnic minorities, accounting for 20.9 per cent. Non-Party member candidates are 226.
