Nigeria: experts advocate more women in leadership positions

An expert in gender advocacy, Dr Ene Ede has appealed to the Federal government to close the gender gap by appointing more women into positions of authority.

Dr Ede stated this in Abuja during a one-day Media training on gender sensitive reporting.

She called on government to live up to the many protocols it signed on gender equality especially in political participation of women.
