In Mexico, the President of the Federal Electoral Tribunal, assumes the Presidency and Technical Secretary of the Observatory of Political Participation of Women

During the biannual meeting of the Federal Electoral Tribunal, its president, Constancio Carrasco, has assumed the Presidency and the Technical Secretary of the Observatory of Political Participation of Women in Mexico. At the event, Lorena Cruz, president of the National Women's Institute (INMUJERES), and the Director of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Cordova, carried out the delivery of office.
The Observatory is the result of coordinated work of INE Mexico and the Federal Electoral Tribunal and seeks to coordinate actions to promote the participation of women in areas of decision-making in the public sphere in Mexico, in order to achieve synergies to close gender gaps from a focus on substantive equality between women and men.
