Sierra Leone: Women’s Forum on confidence building

19 April 2012 - The Women’s Forum in collaboration with UN Women has started a sensitization and mapping out initiative of women aspirants in Sierra Leone as a means of building their confidence and putting them in the spot light in decision making in the country, at a conference held yesterday, April 18.
Regina Maude Peacock, President of Women’s Forum said the purpose of the sensitization is to identify women for different seats that will be provided in the M30. According to her, “these women need confidence and self esteem.” She maintained that the women need to be aware of the fact that they are capable of taking up the task and that they will be supported.
