Uganda: Government News- Kadaga Asks For Report On Status Of Women

18 Mar 2012 - The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has expressed concern over the failure of the minister for gender, labour and social development to present the report on the status of women in the country to parliament.

She made the remark while speaking during the opening ceremony of the induction seminar for parliamentarians on the role of parliament in implementing the convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women.
