Zimbabwe: 28 Women Voted Into the House of Assembly

The results of the March 29 harmonised elections show a that 28 women were elected to the Lower House of Parliament, the House of Assembly. This represents just 13 percent of the total 210 seats, with 17 women elected on a Zanu-PF ticket and 11 for the opposition MDC Tsvangirai.
