The only two reformist challengers to hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in upcoming elections vowed Saturday to bring change to Iran and restore the country's dignity.

The two prominent conservative candidates -- the incumbent president and a former Revolutionary Guards chief -- formally registered their candidacy on Friday for the June 12 Iranian presidential election.
Guardians Council Spokesman Abbas Ali Kadkhodaii Saturday announced that presidential campaign will start on May 22 and will last for 20 days. Kadkhodaii reminded that only candidates whose qualification has been approved by the Council can launch the campaign.
The election commission of the Interior Ministry on Wednesday confirmed the eligibility of four nominees for the next presidential elections, slated for June 12.
