This booklet provides an overview of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and raises awareness of the rights to which women are entitled under CEDAW. The purpose of this publication is to increase the effectiveness of reporting, monitoring and implementing the Convention. It also provides region-specific information for women in the Caribbean.
