The President’s forum with Young African leaders brought together over hundred young leaders from civil society and the private sector from more than forty sub-Saharan African countries with American counterparts and U.S government officials to focus on key themes of America’s partnership with African nations, including Youth empowerment, good governance and economic opportunity. African participants had an opportunity to exchange with President Obama during a Town Hall meeting in the White House. African delegates also met with grassroots organizations to share experiences and strategies.
