Women Urged To Vie For Elective Positions, Nigeria

LAGOS - Nigerian women have been told to go for elective positions as they had achieved the 35 per cent affirmative appointive positions in line with UN recommendation.

Mrs. Mairo Amshi, a Lagos-based gender activist, told newsmen that “there is hope in the political activities of women especially with the support of the present administration.
