On April 14, iKNOW Politics participated to the launch event of UN Women in Mali.
On March 24, iKNOW Politics participated in International IDEA event in Cairo titled "A discussion round table about democratic transition in Egypt- Challenges and Needs".
Following on the heels of this year’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the Grassroots Summit on Women’s Leadership and Governance, hosted by the Huairou Commission, attracted individuals from a range of institutions, spanning village healthcare advocates, to international scholars.

iKNOW Politics was invited by Inter-Parliamentary Union and UN Women to present during the Commission on Status of Women at the event "The Role of Parliaments in promoting access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology".
The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) seeks to hire a Regional Coordinator for iKNOW Politics in the Asia region.
International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is celebrated worldwide every year on 25 November. To mark the day, activists, governments, international organizations and NGOs organize activities designated to raise public awareness on the issue.
