iKNOW Politics was presented at a workshop during the Second Biennial Women’s Studies Conference in Izmir, Turkey held June 12-14, 2008. The conference focused on the impact of gender quotas and positive action measures on women in politics and public life.

On July 9-10 iKNOW Politics participated in the UNDP roundtable, Women in Arab Parliaments: Progress, Stagnation or Regression? iKNOW Politics plans to launch an Arabic version of the Network’s website in the Fall of 2009.
The iKNOWpolitics team is pleased to announce that Anita Vandenbeld has joined iKNOWpolitics as its Project Manager.
Launched on February 27, 2007 at the United Nations’ 51st Commission on the Status of Women meeting, iKNOW Politics is now celebrating its first anniversary and is happy to share with you the achievements of the network.
